By using coloripedia.com ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Paweł Celiński, the operator of Coloripedia.
2. Description of service
Coloripedia provides a free online color encyclopedia, reference tools (hex converter, palette generator, contrast checker, image color picker), and editorial content about named colors. The service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Site for personal, educational, professional, and commercial purposes, including:
- Looking up color values for design, development, or print work
- Using the tools for color conversion and accessibility checking
- Citing color information in educational or editorial content (with attribution)
- Linking to color pages from external websites

not:
- Scrape the Site with automated tools at a rate that disrupts service for other users
- Mirror or republish significant portions of the encyclopedia without permission

Our content: The editorial descriptions, site design, and original content on Coloripedia are owned by Paweł Celiński and protected by copyright.
Color data: Mathematical color values (hex codes, RGB values) are facts and are not copyrightable. You are free to use any color value from Coloripedia without attribution, though we appreciate a link.

Tool output: Palettes, converted values, and extracted colors generated using our tools are yours to use freely — no attribution required.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- Color values are accurate enough for professional print or production use without independent verification
- The Site will be available without interruption
- Content is free from errors (we try hard, but no encyclopedia is perfect)
Screen rendering: Colors displayed on screen are rendered in sRGB on your monitor. Actual color appearance varies by display calibration, ambient lighting, and color profile. Coloripedia accepts no liability for color mismatches in professional production work.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coloripedia and Paweł Celiński shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to losses from color mismatches, incorrect conversions, or reliance on color psychology claims.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is zero, as the service is free).
